North windows of renovated David Ericson Fine Art Gallery

Fine Art Institution

David Ericson needed a new and modern space to house and tastefully display the growing collection of artwork of local Utah artists for purchase by collectors.

Respectful Renovation

The Avenues Preschool building in the Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah provided a great starting point for a renovation.

Modern

The mid-century modern lines of the original building were preserved in the updating of the interior and exterior spaces. Existing interior walls were removed to create a cohesive flow and meaningful viewing spaces for gallery visitors.

Neighborhood Values

Located next to a UTA bus stop and to another art gallery, and within a vibrant neighborhood, the new location for David Ericson Fine Art adds immense value to the existing neighborhood fabric.
